Happy to pass on this information from Positive Steps NW.<

I am chair of Positive Steps North West - a volunteer run, user-led self help support group for gay men living with HIV across the North West region. Our aim is to improve the quality of life for gay men living with HIV by providing valuable peer support, information and guidance. We are a registered charity. Details of services we provide can be seen on our website :<
I would appreciate it if you would let service users who are HIV positive gay men know that we have 5 places available on a residential weekend in Snowdonia from Saturday 28th - Monday 30th July for gay men living with HIV. The residential is based at Trigonos which is a fabulous venue overlooking Snowdon and participants have their own en suite bedrooms with all home cooked meals included. The residential involves taking part in workshops looking at quality of life and sharing experiences and ideas with each other in a very informal and relaxed atmosphere. There is no cost for the weekend to participants which has been funded by a National Lottery grant - this includes travel there and back by minibus from Manchester (or individuals can make their own way there and back if preferred).
This is the third residential we have run over the past 12 months and the other 2 received very positive feedback by those who attended with many of the men wanting to take part in another one. We would prefer though to have a group of men who have not attended a previous residential as we want to evaluate the 3 residentials from a range of participants. Further details  can be seen on our website with photos of the venue (<).
Please ask anyone who wishes to attend to contact me either by completing the contact page on the website or emailing:<
I hope you are able to help pass this information on.
